Course Evaluation

  • I think our course has been organised very well with the best of intensions for the students and I'd like to thank Mr.Bush and Ms.Stevens for that.
  • The content covered in the course is one of the reasons I cared on taking it and I find it to a certain extent, fun to do.
  • Most of the handouts are useful e.g. the booklets, but the handouts like from films etc aren't goning to be used again as is a waste of trees.
  • The pace of the lessons I think were better paced last year in truth. It's not bad now, but I think the context of the coursework that we're doing slows it down because we're concentrating on material that isn't relavant to us independently.
  • The standard is very high with the teaching, I learn more in Media than any other subject (But sir, don't get big headed)!
  • My expectations have been exceeded as I came into the course with a B grade at GCSE level and come out with an A at AS level.
  • The exrta curricular events have had a major impact. The awards evening last year set the standard of what we had to meet for our own practical productions, without it I don't think I'd have done as well as I did.
  • Macguffin is another way of making sure we get the homework regardless of whether we're in the lesson or not, so NO it hasn't been helpful lol!
  1. When thinking of hand outs, think about whether they'd really be relavan to all of us, if not, why hurt the trees!
  2. When setting homework, have mercy on us, we have coursework already and media isn' the only subject we take.
  3. More cinema trips, it really does help ( not just a reason to get a day off)!
